Oxygen is local-first. We collect very little. Your corpus, library, and project files stay on your machine. Native builds isolate the data plane with OS sandboxing (macOS Seatbelt, Linux systemd sandbox, Windows AppContainer). Docker builds keep the same stack in local containers. Account identity and billing live on Mainframe; they are not a warehouse of your work files.

Files stay on your machine

Oxygen does not accept user file uploads onto our servers. We do not host your content in public storage buckets. Desktop “uploads” and the organization library write to disk on your computer. Because we do not keep a copy of your project files, there is no separate process to delete “our copy” of uploads — we never received them.

AI and model providers

Oxygen is an AI creator studio. When you use hosted models, only the prompt and context you choose to send leave your machine — routed to the configured provider under your plan (for example Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, or media vendors). We do not train our own models on your content. Safety behavior, including responses related to self-harm, is enforced by those upstream providers under their policies. Local models you run yourself never leave your machine.

No third-party collectors in the product

The desktop app and product data plane do not include analytics SDKs, data brokers, or third-party trackers. Billing identity is handled by Stripe when you subscribe. That is payment infrastructure, not a product analytics pipeline.

What Mainframe keeps

To run accounts and plans we store only what we need:

  • Account email and authentication sessions.
  • Subscription status and hosted usage counts for your plan.
  • Support form submissions (name, email, subject, and message) when you contact us from this site.

We do not sell personal information.

This marketing website only

This site uses advertising measurement tags so we can attribute visits from ads: Google Ads, Reddit Pixel, Microsoft UET / Bing Ads, and Quora Pixel. Those vendors may receive the page URL, standard browser data, an anonymous visitor id, and any email or phone present on the landing URL. These tags are not part of the Oxygen desktop product or Creator Studio app.
